I was delighted to be invited by the BBC to discuss the recent standings of starfish with Radio presenter Adam Walton. This was my first media interview and I am very grateful to the fantastic staff in the BBC for making me feel so welcome and at ease.
I was recorded in the Bangor BBC unattended studio – and this is exactly as described – a room with headphones, some retro looking switch boards and me by myself!
The BBC also sent reporter Elon Ifan to visit me in the School of Ocean Sciences in Bangor University so we could record running water in the aquarium and look at some of the exciting marine animals I work with.
